Electrodermal Screening
Dr. Lederman utilizes electodermal testing with all his patients.  He is trained in both VEGA and BIOMERIDIAN.
Electordermal testing is a non-invasive, safe, pain-free, and excellent method of determining imbalances specific to a given patent’s health.
It is an assessment of the many energy meridians,  organs, and systems in the body.  Dr. Voll, a German physician discovered and developed this technique in the early 1940s, and originally called it Electroacupuncture According to Voll (EAV).   
Meridian Stress Assessment (MSA) is the technological descendant of EAV.  BioMeridian’s MSAS Professional is a highly advanced galvanic skin response testing device used for merdian stress assessment.  It employs minute electrical current that is passed through a probe and into the body at selected acupunture points.  The device measures resistance to the current at each point in order to determine the state of the corresponding meridian.  MSAS technology can be compared to polygraph, EKG, EEG, EMG, MRI, and other technologies that measure electrical response on the surface of the skin.
Electrodermal screening provides information which cannot be obtained by standard diagnostic techniques. It is not used to diagnose or treat disease as defined by conventional medicine.  Along with other clinical observations and tests,  Dr. Lederman coordinates  this information in order to provide full service patient care.
Electrodermal testing allows early detection of tendencies toward disease, toxicity and imbalances due to various types of stress before they become outwardly manifested. Most commonly, electrodermal testing is used to determine the influence upon the body of:

Biological Terrain Assessment

The Biological Terrain is the interstitial fluid that bathes and nourishes every cell in the human body.  Biological Terrain Assessment (BTA) is a very popular test using sophisticated equipment to check biological fluids (urine, saliva, and blood) for biochemical irregularities indicating underlying cellular dysfunction.  BTA includes measuring pH for the alkaline-acid balance; redox for the level of electrons; and resistivity for mineral status.
